Selecting option one from the iACH menu will evoke the maintenance program below enabling a new iACH application to be configured to capture the relevant data elements from a spooled file.

For a base application to be created, the data elements should be completed as illustrated above. Once created as demonstrated above, return to the list of applications. At this point, the data from the spooled file needs to be associated with the fields used to record a transaction. Typically the spooled file is created in such a way as to generate one transaction per page.

To accomplish this, select the iACH application with an option 2. A listing spooled files will be generated enabling the user to navigate to the appropriate spooled file. After the spooled file is located, selecting the file will enable the spooled file data elements to be mapped. Locate the first element to be mapped, for instance the invoice number. Position the cursor to the beginning of that data element, press F8. Next, position the cursor the end of the invoice number and press F8 again.
